I am excited to have joined Google Wave now its gone public. I have been waiting for quite some time to join and had asked everyone I could think of to send me an invitation but they had all used them up already! Now I am in! I have found several really useful tweets through @ictclassroom re @willnolan on twitter. There is a really good slideshow by John Jennings with ideas for using Google Wave in Education. Let me know if you'd like me to send you an invitation, there are lots of possibilities to communicate and collaborate.

Another great website for Teachers to use in Classrooms
I have visited an excellent website with the ability to create word clouds which is very suitable for junior level children to use independently this afternoon. Thanks to Jacqui Sharp on Web 2.0 in Education and also @mdanonbaird for tweeting about this on Twitter. I quickly and easily create a word cloud of synonyms for happy to try out the tool:
The site is: ABC-Ya! and has links for online, interactive, educational games from Kindergarten to Year 4 level. Lots of fun games to support learning.
